Summary: The good folks at Bollywood don't get nearly enough credit around here. It's high time that they got a bio here. And what better subject matter than one involving their most powerful predator?

History: Centuries ago, a king set out to kill a tiger and her mate so that he may have a child. He succeeded in killing one, but the remaining tiger cursed him to become a tiger every full moon. And anyone who killed the tiger-man would become one themselves, ensuring that the curse goes on forever. The most recent person to inherit the curse of the Junoon is Vikram Chauhan, a somewhat selfish man who is courting an unsuspecting girl as he keeps his murderous full-moon alter-ego a secret.

Final Fate: The girl and friends manage to find a sacred dagger in an ancient temple cave so that they may end the curse. Vikram tries to intervene, but he is stabbed midway through transformation, ending the curse.

Powers/Abilities: Enhanced physical strength, transformation into a tiger almost every night.

Weakness: A one-of-a-kind dagger is capable of killing the man without spreading the curse.

Scariness Factor: 3-The transformation can be a bit silly in some areas, but this is still a tiger we're talking about. And if there's anything we've learned from centuries of experience, it's that tigers are strong killers. Especially if they're essentially Indian iterations of werewolves.

Trivia: -The transformation sequence cost the filmmakers 60 lakh. That's about 6,000,000 in US dollars.

-There was a lot of conflict behind the set, particularly about how the film had been a stolen idea for a Hindu remake of "An American Werewolf in London".
